About ISH OnTheGo
ISH OnTheGo is an AI-powered clinical advice and decision-support platform developed by the International Society of Hypertension (ISH) to help healthcare professionals around the world deliver high-quality, evidence-based care for people with hypertension.
Our mission
Hypertension is the leading preventable cause of cardiovascular disease globally. ISH OnTheGo was developed to make practical, guideline-driven recommendations accessible at the point of care - particularly in busy primary care settings - to help improve hypertension control across the globe.
What the platform offers
ISH OnTheGo provides concise, prescriptive recommendations based on the latest guidelines from ISH, enabling healthcare professionals to quickly access diagnostic, treatment, and management guidance.
The platform presents both essential recommendations, which outline the minimum evidence-based standards of care for settings with low-resource, and optimal recommendations, which describe the highest standard of care where more resources are available. It also tailors information for both doctors and non-doctor healthcare professionals, ensuring that responses are more targeted to each user's role. This dual approach supports effective hypertension management across diverse healthcare systems worldwide.
Who it's for
ISH OnTheGo is for all healthcare professionals involved in hypertension management worldwide, including doctors, nurses, medical assistants, and others delivering cardiovascular care.
Built on evidence
ISH OnTheGo has been developed to provide recommendations that reflect the latest scientific evidence and best practices.
Languages and translations
The ISH guidelines and ISH OnTheGo are currently available in English only. Limiting the tool to the language of the published guidelines helps ensure that its answers accurately reflect the recommendations. ISH plans to explore translations of the guidelines into additional languages. National hypertension societies, professional organisations and other suitably qualified groups interested in collaborating with ISH on authorised translations are invited to contact us.
Updates
The platform will continue to evolve as new research and updated guidelines become available, and will be updated annually according to new recommendations by the ISH Guidelines Committee.
